HydraulicModel.com was created for modeling professionals and enthusiasts to post news, blogs, videos and other content to share with the community. You may freely view the site and post comments. With a user account, you may post a wide range of content including news stories (original and external sources), videos, and blogs.

If you are already a user, to create an article use the “Create Content” button in the page header or link in the right side column. If you are a new user, register now and you will receive an email with a password.

Below is a list of the various types of content that can be submitted:

Blog entry
A blog is a regularly updated journal or diary made up of individual posts shown in reversed chronological order. Each member of the site may create and maintain a blog.

Forum topic
Create a new topic for discussion in the forums.

Image
An image (with thumbnail). This is ideal for publishing photographs or screenshots.

Papers
These are documents users may submit in the form of pdf, doc or xls.

Story
Stories can be original content or teasers to external sources. If you are submitting a story from another news provider, please provide a link to the source. The Story content type is also used for creating Events, Resources and Software topics. Just select the appropriate Story type from the drop-down menu. You can also upload or use an existing image to enhance your story.

Video
Allow a variety of video formats to be posted as nodes in your site. The simplest way to post a video is to use a YouTube URL.
